Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Zuari Prep, operated by Gautam Dilip Toraskar (“we”) collects when you use www.zuariprep.in and the Zuari Prep app, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the Service, and we do not sell your data.
1. What we collect and why

We do not collect your phone number, address, location, or any payment details. There are no payments on the Service now.
2. How we use it
Only for the reasons in the table above: to run your account, give you access to packages, save your progress, improve our questions, and answer you. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with the services that run the platform, and only as needed:
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles login.
- Razorpay — processed payments made before the Service became free.
- Google — only if you choose “Sign in with Google”.
These providers may store data on servers outside India. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect the Service and its users.
4. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can delete your account yourself from the Account page in the app (or ask us to). Your name, email, test attempts, bookmarks, enrolments and feedback are then deleted. Purchase records (amount, Razorpay payment IDs, dates) are kept without any link to you, because we must keep them for tax and accounting purposes.
6. Your rights
You can correct your name and delete your account yourself from the Account page in the app. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by contacting us at the details below. We will respond within 30 days. You can also raise a grievance with us through the same channels.
7. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to it is restricted so that each user can see only their own account data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Children
The Service is meant for government-exam aspirants. You must be 18 or older, or use the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf. We confirm this at sign-up and record the date and version of the policy you accepted. If we learn that a child has signed up without parental consent, we will delete the account.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will notify you of significant changes.
10. Grievance officer and contact
For any question, complaint or request about your personal data, contact our grievance officer. We acknowledge complaints within 7 days and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
